This was a strong entry in the series. Plenty of character activity, lining up future plots, and John finally lets his halo slip.
Sabrina is definitely the most three dimensional character in the series (including John) though her personality is a little inconsistent. Her impulsivity, hypersexuality, untidy flat and fidgeting suggests ADHD, yet is very methodical at work. That might be a learned coping mechanism, though.

It's the mark of a mature author who can invest in a character, then kill them off. I've read through other epic Lit series, and none of them could let go of a character, even when they had too many to write them effectively. This is safely the best series I've read here.
Also, Lala surely has ADHD? Difficulty reading people, blurting the wrong thing, impulsivity, ingenious and has several special interests. As one myself, it's nice to get the representation.

I agree with Geemeedee's comments completely. You have written compelling characters that we are all invested in. So many who read on this site demand HEAs and you aren't the first writer to express being stuck or blocked by harsh comments or lower ratings when the story isn't going as expected. These are high school students. The drama, vulnerability, impulsivity and immaturity was well written. Thank you. I, too, would like an epilogue or continuation onto college to get a perspective on what the future holds for everyone.

I was really rooting for Kurtis but… The way you wrote the story so endearing as they woke up in each other’s arms. The comment about being done with writing for the evening and Tyler going to bed with his husband is so thought provoking. I’d really like to hear how things matured for Austin and Tyler although I know it may not be a 24 chapters series. Also you mentioned some things about Ryan and that may be nice to hear about him here on literotica, if even at least have some glimpses as we hear about Austin‘s love story. I’d really like to know how Kurtis does, not just in a romantic way but how he’s getting settled in society, reconnecting with his family and Ty, and controlling his impulsivity. He’s a great guy and Tyler really cared about him.

Hm...interesting interlude. The story explains how hard her father's death hit her and certainly explains that while she's very assertive, she's also impulsive in Wyatt's case--which leads to the flawed conclusion in marrying him--when she employed sex first instead of just talking to him about future plans; not investing in discovering what he wanted for the relationship and his life (and with her) guaranteed snuffing out their union quickly. While I don't think a single reader would hold that failure against Mary, they could hold her impulsivity against her, because if she doesn't fix what sunk that first relationship, she's doomed to repeat it with far more disastrous results. It's enough that you potentially foreshadow a major disaster with referring to Moby Dick.

She had her mother's personality nailed down perfectly, said she was 'like an impulsive child'.
You would expect his ex to grow even a little, but it never happened. I think that's because, in her child like mind, admitting you were wrong is defeat. Like how a small child will lie about 'never even touched those cookies'. And of course the kid's mouth is covered in chocolate. That's his ex. She's not dumb, and not even really evil. She did evil things, and she can't hide behind the child excuse as an adult.
But I really do believe she has the impulsivity and morality of a small child. In eyes saying sorry even once will put her on the losing side. Ironically, showing true remorse and admitting everything outright was her golden ticket back into the good graces of at least her daughter, and maybe her now ex husband.

Choosing wrong P.O.V. gives a whiny boring story-telling!
Loverboy is way too self-centered in order to grasp or get what his so-called girlfriend's doing right besides him. She choose to live this fantasy of hers and she accepted that you tag-along, and there's nothing that you can say to influence her decision!
She's actually being honest with Loverboy by showing him her true color, he either accepts it and goes with it or he doesn't and leaves alone, both way he shuts his mouth and stops whining!
Girlfriend P.O.V. would have give a lusty insight on her naughty to the extreme behaviour, even if she acts on impulsivity, the story would have been able to share her dark sex-craving in a positive way since she gets such an high out of this fantasy instead of an incomprehensible and unrelatable sobbing mess!
