Excellent story and the perfect conclusion to the series. I love how you've interwoven most of your stories together and provided crossover events.
One thing I suggest should be fixed is where you mention Anita suffered from post-natal depression, it should be postpartum depression. While both refer to childbirth and often are used interchangeably, medically they have different meanings. Postatal refers to issues with the newborn while Postpartum refers to the mother.

Nice job describing her depression and it’s affects. You nailed it. My wife’s postpartum and subsequent severe depression were much like in the story, albeit without the cheating. It took her another 20 years to understand herself, and realize that she had no idea how to ask for my help.

That’s outstanding. A stark contrast to postpartum depression. He admits his family had problems of addiction, and his fear of the same. Addiction and obsession are similar. He doesn’t recognize that his obsession with his wife IS his addiction; and doesn’t recognize that before childbirth, the same was true for her. They aren’t dealing with their obsessive behaviors.
My wife had severe postpartum, which uncovered a longer-present deep depression. It isn’t easy to get through as a couple (or young family). I didn’t cheat in any sense, but my reactions led to my own depression diagnosis.
The worst anyone can do, is deny their depression, followed closely by refusing help.

For me.
Agree with others, I half expected some twist but wasn't disappointed with the absence of one. But the ending was flat and just seems incomplete. There are some unanswered questions about her sudden frigidity. Is it hormones? Postpartum depression? Something else?

I agree with Nu-reeh, Ciara keeps wasting her placenta! I know she has reason to be depressed but if it's postpartum depression at all her placenta would help a lot. I put mine in capsules and took them whenever I felt sad after the birth and it helped tremendously. It has hormones in it and tons of nutrients to help you recover from the birth. I hope she consumes some next time and has an easier time with the depression.

A bit messy compared to previous stories. There were some exciting fast moving parts, along with some not truly plausible parts.
What I liked most was the couple of pages where Midge described her very real struggle with postpartum depression. It was very touching. I remember my wife fighting with that struggle. Your description was insightful.

For me, you made Katherine a little too crazy. And while you danced around the edges of postpartum depression you clearly don't have an in depth understanding of the subject nor have you lived with someone who had the illness. It's far more complex than you made it seem. Other than that, it was a good story to read. You could use some help in the editing, but eventually I figured out what you meant. Write on!
