Oddly enough, in my two professional careers, I had both attended MLA conventions and written about gabapentin (Neurontin, Parke-Davis)! I'm glad to see that the initial 3,000 mg dose didn't kill poor Christina: the world NEEDS more English professors like her (unless of course her department is French & Italian). Actually, the story had me thinking of a different class of drugs from anticonvulsants: Facetime reads like a JBEdwards story on steroids. This basically happened to me. My wife had a hysterectomy at 40 and took Premarin for a number of years which is a form of hormone replacement therapy. It's a fake hormone with side effects and possible health issues so my wife eventually got off that and our sex life went to about zero. I survived a few years taking matters into my own hand so to speak, but it's obviously not the same. Then I went on statins for high cholesterol which resulted in giving me erectile dysfunction. So I stopped the statins but the ED didn't go away. So I investigated what could be done for me and discovered BioIdentical hormones for men and women. They are hormones made from plants with the same chemical makeup as our real hormones. They aren't put out by big Pharmacuticals because you can't patent thIngs that are natural. So I now take testonerone and progesterone and my wife takes estrogen and a small amount of testosterone and our sex lives have returned to normal for us about twice a week. I feel like a man again. Since these are BioIdentical they also have no side effects. Search the web for BioIdentical hormones in your area and get your sex life back again. My wife and I are both 63. Good luck to others in this situation.One more point about statins - they reduce cholesterol which by the way is what your body uses to make testosterone and your other sex hormones so guess why so many in the USA have ED. I stopped taking stains and the FDA and medical folds are slowly changing their thinking on cholesterol - better late than never.

Cereal with bananas for breakfast lovely, one of my favourite fruits but one should be careful with the quantity of cream, too much cholesterol not a good thing. One teacher two pupils a good ratio, the thing educationalists have been talking about for years. I trust both Helen and Charlotte will get a good grounding in their chosen topic as well as a thorough exploration of each students body.this is a really good series Max well worth five stars. This story is great fun; it's sexy too. I especially enjoyed the heroine/narrator's personality, including her fairly strong—but decidedly quirky—ethical principles. I do feel sorry for her uncle, though. He got left out of the action entirely. Perhaps there will be a Part 3? Fine with me, if so.

Not much good news. Went to my neuropathist on Wednesday for a series of tests. 'Yes', I have nerve damage and 'no', the doctor looking at the results couldn't understand why. Essentially, they ran an escalating electric current from various spots on my lower leg and foot to toes to see how I responded. I highly recommend this as a means of torture.
On the downside, I am becoming resistant to my pain medication, so life sucks coming and going. My psychiatrist upped my Gabapentin from 300 Mg to 400 Mg [3x a day] and it isn't helping. Woot? I'd kill for a decent night's sleep.
