Most cancer therapies are quite long term, prior to one being cured. Most patients are considered cured when they are 5-years post treatment without any medication or cancer. However, it is impossible to project specifics now, since we are unaware of what specific type cancer & stage Bonnie has, although the most likely one is breast cancer based on her age.

There is a very bright light beaming at the end of the tunnel though, with less invasive and
powerful immunotherapy drugs which attempt to train our healthy white cells to identify
and attack cancer cells, which mask as healthy cells in our system. The real question is
with cancer treatment in the U.S. worth billions of dollars yearly to the medical and pharma
establishment, is the industry really doing it's best to irradicate Cancer?

The partners, although in a difficult situation, can pull through at any time, while the patients have to struggle and live with it.
In the end, the partners were selfish people.
But aren't we all, more or less?
