Bp med losartan

Started my bp meds on losartan, then lisinopril for a few years with regular excess mucus in my throat. This aggravated a bad case of bronchitis last month and my doc changed my bp med to amlodipine. My mucus/cough subsided quite a bit but my bp was out of control. So the doc added back lisinopril, in addition to the amlodipine.

As discussed above, losartan and lisinopril work on the same pathway, but at different points. Should I take my husband's BP med metoprolol?

Even though all of the docs claim the opposite, we are noticing the same as far as ED with losartan. side effects gone from switching BP meds.

The various bp meds most docs recommend for endurance athletes are ACE inhibitors, Angiotensin II receptor antagonists (losartan) and calcium channel blockers

Apparently, Losartan does have the least side effects according to a lot of people, including Pharmacists. Most bp meds in the ARB class, which Losartan is, give off the least side effects. Another med in the ARB class that seems popular with people is Valsartan.Strrength of the medication is important too.

Afib controlled, HTN. Flecainide 50 x2, Coreg 12.5 x2, Losartan 50 x1. I take the losartan with my evening meds. BP is good all day until 4 or 5 hrs before my evening meds. Then my BP raises to 140 or so over 70 or so. Do I need my BP meds adjusted? Can you take Viagra if you have AFIB? Can you take viagra (sildenafil) if you have afib?
