Adderall withdrawls

Yes, when I was instructed to stop the Amitriptyline cold turkey, by my cardiologist, I had and still to this day have withdrawls. I am also on the Propranolol beta blocker for my heart issues. The amitriptyline is known to cause the high heart rate (mine was up in the 90s and 100s as well), heart palputations, and V-Tach. The beta blocker medicine should slow your heart rate down. Now, I will tell you this from my experience and I am no way a doctor, but since quitting the Ami and being on the beta blocker, my heart has continued to flutter, just not as much or as severe as when i was on ami. I have read where one of the many withdrawl symptoms is heart palputations. so at this stage in my withdrawls, i hope and pray that the palputations are just that, withdrawls and not permanent. But i dont know. My Vtach came back about 3 weeks ago (month 5 post ami) and the cardiologist increased my Propranolol dose from 60mg to 80mg. that did not work so its up to 120mg. i can breathe again but i honestly do not want to be on this med forever. i hope and pray that you and i both can over come these heart complications. If your still having issues, I would talk to your doctor
