A friend gave me 1 one single 50mg tablet. I had a 4-5 beers and then took the Tramadol. I'm probably overreacting, but will I be alright? I know body chemistry's differ, but just want opinions.Again. I have only taken this ONCE, as above. I take 50 mg tramadol in the mornings with breakfast have an occasional glass of wine in the evening before dinner. No issues in past 3 years. I have been prescribed Tramadol for years for my severe arthritis pain. I requested it because there are no ill effects as are with opioid meds. I cannot have such effects in my occupation. I do not take them if I expect to have a wine drink with dinner. Tramadol has never effected me, even at beginning of treatment, other than alleviating pain. No dizziness or other factors such as associated with opioids, as this drug is now reclassified. Such a shame it has been reassigned. It seems only an effective analgesic. I had a pint of bourbon few hours ago and just took 30 milligrams. I wish I could upload a picture of the veins in my arms. There now sticking out about 3/8 of an inch. I strongly suggest don't mix the two. Hi, as Rajive has said, it is not a good idea to mix tramadol with alcohol. But taking just the one tablet with the beers will be ok so don't worry. New users of tramadol are much more sensitive to them so bare that in mind. I'm not advocating this whatsoever, but I have been taking tramadol for a few years now & have drank alcohol with them several times with no problems, I'm only telling you this so you don't worry.
