Food again u are now dependant on the alcohol. i finally got this all in check but it sucks big time and there are times i will still say screw it and drink but very little now. i gained alot of the weight back then got really sick from something else and lost it again. if u can get yourself to eating a few bites here and there, just keeping something in our stomach, the weight will come off again cuz your stomach will retract. now i am on pain meds probably for the rest of my life for RA and cant keep the weight on. they say things are absorbed differently after GB but i'm not sure how or why. The alcohol is a whole different ballgame. so hard to stop. i would not have the urgery again. for me it started a chain of health issues that now have me on disability. Hi hope, i had gastric bypass surgery in Sept 2009 and i never realized that maybe that can cause any effect on the medications that we take. Makes sense that it would. I have lost over 120 lbs and the only issue i have is constipation and weakness, added to the side effects that effexor adds on, sleepness, nausea etc. its hard to tell if its the effexor or the surgery causing the side effects. I did fall back into a depression this year but i take that to switching my meds.
