Ugh. In October I started gabapentin for leg pain, and slept great! I woke up feeling more normal, less groggy. But as time went on, this effect wasn't occurring unless I upped my dose (which I did per doc). Now I'm at 900 x 3 a day, and I must be used to it from a sleep standpoint. Oh and also, I've been taking 50mg of traz since I started gabapentin, not really sure if it helps or not. I feel I sleep fine for 6 straight hours, but am so groggy, tired, and foggy - like I was before gabapentin. Here it is 11am and I'm still groggy and cannot function, and my eyes are dry. Is it possible trazadone is causing my mornings to be worse now? I've tried halving my dose but couldn't sleep. I'm out of ideas, and feel like shit in the head. I need to wake up feeling refreshed, and although I feel like I sleep fine for 6 hours, something is going on. Btw I have sleep apnea and use a cpap, my numbers look fine. I just don't know how to get normal mornings again.
