The England Golf Trust (EGT) Bursary is open to young people in England under the age of 25 who are entering or currently enrolled in full-time Higher or Further Education at a university or college, following the completion of academic year 12.
The EGT bursary provides support for young golfers who are facing financial challenges to further their education at college or university. The bursary provides assistance for educational expenses and maintenance costs for golfers who can demonstrate a desire to pursue a future career in the golf industry. Importantly, the bursary does not require the chosen qualification to be golf-specific, allowing recipients to explore diverse career paths. The bursary provides £1,000 per year for a maximum of three years, offering significant support over the duration of the course. Individuals can receive only one bursary for life. Applications are open from July to September, with awards granted in October, aligning with the academic calendar.
Through this support, the England Golf Trust Bursary helps young golfers continue their education while remaining actively involved in the sport and striving toward their future ambitions in golf.
