The England Golf Trust (EGT) Young Golfer Support Grant exists to assist young golfers in England who are between the ages of 5 and 18 and enrolled in formal education, including apprenticeships. The grant, of up to £500, aims to alleviate financial challenges that may hinder their ability to continue playing golf. The grant covers essential costs associated with recreational golf at local clubs or facilities.

We believe that no young person should have to stop playing golf because of cost. The grant provides practical support to help young golfers stay active, develop their skills, and remain part of their local golf community. Applications are assessed fairly and confidentially, considering financial need, how the grant will be used, and how it will help the young person continue playing golf into the future.
