Make us your Captain’s Charity
Most golf club captains support at least one charity during their year in office. Sometimes they support several charities. This fundraising effort may be separate or combined across the Men’s and Ladies’ sections of a club.
However, it is organised at your club, we would really appreciate future captains considering whether they can make support for EGT part of their Captain’s Charity in some way.
Whether you decided to make us your main charity, or one of a number you are raising money for – all your efforts to fund raise for us are appreciated, even if they are small. Everything you do will help us to help support young people on their pathway to playing golf.
When you select England Golf Trust as the charity that benefits from your fundraising, you will be helping to support young golfers of all ages and abilities through grants and bursaries for coaching, equipment, membership, entry fees and travel.
In return, we will provide you with fundraising resources that can help make the most of your Captain’s Charity year, including a pull-banner, collection boxes and captains’ polo shirts.
All our funding goes direct to the individual. Whether it’s through on-going financial support or a one-off fundraising day, the money you donate allows us to support many more deserving young golfers.
