England Golf Trust is a registered charity which raises funds to help young people in financial need to play golf.

About applicants for grants and bursaries:
- Your name, address, email address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, names of any golf clubs of which you are a member, education details, handicap, golfing history and achievements, details of your employment or any volunteering you do
- Information about your financial situation
- Information about your disability, if you choose to tell us about this
- Details of all applications you make for grants and bursaries and our decisions in relation to those applications
- Financial information you provide confirming how any grants or bursaries have been spent
About sponsors of applicants for grants and bursaries:
- Your name, address, email address, relationship to the applicant
About those applying for entry into and participating in the England Golf Trust Stableford:
- Your name, address, email address, telephone number
- The name of the golf club you are representing
- Your handicap and CDH
- Your score

When you visit our website, our server will automatically record your IP address and the time and duration of your visit.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for when you apply for, or sponsor, an application for a grant or bursary. We also receive personal information indirectly, from England Golf, which confirms whether an applicant for a grant or bursary is a member of one of its coaching or performance programmes.
We need to collect and hold this information so we can consider your application for a grant or bursary.
Information contained in applications for grants and bursaries is shared with England Golf, which processes applications on our behalf.
We may also share the information in your application with Ping Europe Limited if you are eligible for, and tell us you would like to be considered for, support under its Ping Prodi G scheme.
In relation to those applying for entry into the England Golf Trust Stableford, we receive personal information about you from your golf club. We need to collect and hold this information to consider and process applications for entry and to run that event.
Under data protection law, the lawful basis we rely on for processing your information is that we have your consent.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, using the contact details above.
We do not share your data for marketing. And we will not share your data with any other parties for any other purposes.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions by England Golf – its Privacy Policy can be viewed here.
We keep information supporting applications for grants and bursaries for 7 years. We will keep a record of the grants and bursaries awarded indefinitely. We will then securely dispose your information.
We keep information supporting applications to play in the England Golf Trust Stableford for one year after the date of the Final. We will keep a record of the scores from the Final indefinitely.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
