EGT National Pairs Stableford Finals 2021
August 17, 2021
Ladies’ sections from clubs up and down the country have supported the England Golf Trust by fundraising at a nominated Stableford competition. The purpose of the England Golf Trust Stableford Competition is to raise funds to support young golfers of any level who, without some financial assistance, would not be able to continue playing the game.
The competition consists of a preliminary round, which is any women’s club Stableford played before 6th July and a final. The highest scorer from Divisions 1,2 and 3 (20 handicap and below) and from Divisions 4 and 5 (handicaps 21 to 36) will add their scores together and the top 30 pairs will be invited to play in the National Final which is played as a Better Ball pairs competition at King’s Norton Golf Club. Your help in promoting and encouraging entries to the England Golf Trust Stableford would be much appreciated both within your own club and your county.
Because of the restrictions imposed by the 2020 Covid-19 measures there will be no competition in 2020 but we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2021. Make sure next year’s date of August 17th, 2021 in your diary and that your club runs a qualifying competition for a place before July 3rd, 2021.
